The Holly Hemry Memorial Junior Tennis Fund is a chartered program established by the non-profit Alaska Tennis Association (ATA) to promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, healthy recreation, and respect and care for one another through the sponsorship of activities and programs for junior tennis in our community. Through an annual grant process administered by the ATA, the Holly Hemry Fund solicits grant applications and, through one or more grants, will support selected tennis juniors in Alaska to advance the Fund’s mission.

In making grants (as set out in the Fund’s Charter) the Fund committee considers the following criteria:

The Fund seeks to be a long term program, and as much as possible, to use its earnings to fund programs. Thus, no one grant may exceed $1,000 and annual program expenditures may not exceed twenty percent of the Fund.

The first grant awards were made by the Fund Committee in April 2010. Grant applications are now available for the annual September – October funding cycle. Grant applications may be obtained from the Alaska Club East tennis bulletin board and The Alaska Club North downstairs bulletin board.

The application can also be downloaded from the Alaska Tennis Association web site at www.eteamz.active.com/alaskatennisassociation.

Completed Applications must be mailed to: Alaska Tennis Association, Attn: HH Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 140673, Anchorage, AK 99514 by the designated date on the application. Subsequent award periods will be announced through the ATA.
